I was thrilled when Kennedy applied to be on my Class of 2024 Senior Crew and selected me to be his senior photographer.
"I chose to work with Tracy as my senior photographer and be on her Senior Crew because, honestly, my friend Ava said it would be fun. I knew that I needed my senior pictures, so I thought might as well do something with my friend at the same time. After joining the Crew, it’s been so much fun! My favorite part about all of our sessions has to be the focus that is put on having a good time. Whether it’s a miniature fan to keep you cool, or trying all the different fun spots and positions to get that perfect picture, it’s always a blast!"
We got a few different looks for Kennedy's session to fit what he wanted - tall glass city buildings, cool alleyways and nature.
And when you love Chipotle as much Kennedy does (seriously he knows the history of it even), you have to include it in your senior session. Actually, he loves it so much we are going to do a special Senior Crew shoot centered around Chipotle. More to come on that later though.
Q&A with Kennedy, Farmington High School Senior Pictures:
What teacher has made the most impact on you and why?
The teacher that has made the most impact on me is my first and second grade teacher, Mrs. Summer. She taught me from a young age about how to treat others a respectful way, and how everything can be fun if you go into it with a good attitude.
What’s your advice for underclassmen?
Participate, participate, participate! You only get one high school experience, so don’t sit out of that one spirit week or sporting event because you’re not sure if someone you know will be there or do it. I promise you, it’ll be a blast and you don’t wanna deal with FOMO later. You get out what you put into it. You’re going to make friends that you never even knew existed!
What are you looking forward to for your senior year?
For my senior year, I am looking forward to doing all of the fun Senior Events like senior sunrise, and finally having open campus (a senior only privilege at Farmington). It’ll also be nice to be involved with my school while taking classes, off-campus at UMN Twin Cities, which I’m super excited for.
